Assistant Design Manager – Market Leading Construction – REMOTE**

We are currently recruiting for a market leading construction company who are known for their exceptional service to customers and the quality of their products/systems. The company have a strong emphasis on quality, client service and technical excellence. The company have offices worldwide, a strong pipeline of large, bespoke projects and looking for someone to support the delivery of projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Role:

You will be responsible for –

* Act as a technical liaison between Business Development Managers, internal Technical teams and clients.

* Attend and contribute to project meetings (virtual and in-person) to support design discussions and technical clarifications.

* Ensure all documentation meets internal quality and compliance standards.

* Monitor market trends and technical developments relevant to the building envelope and specification landscape.

* Support the creation of white papers, CPD topics, and technical presentations under guidance from the Solutions Design Lead.

Candidate:

The ideal candidate will –

* Experience in building envelope or technical specification development (1–3 years preferred)

* Basic understanding of regional building codes and certification standards

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organisation and attention to detail in preparing documentation and presentations

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project tracking systems, and familiarity with CAD/specification software (e.g., NBS Chorus, AutoCAD, Revit)

* Confidence in supporting client-facing technical discussions and workshops

* Team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

* Willingness and ability to travel across the EMEA region for project and client meetings

Package:

* Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (negotiable based on experience)

* Bonus – 10%

* Company Car or Car Allowance (if needed)
