Assistant / Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

Our client, a leader in the civil engineering industry, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting contract opportunity to support high-volume, lower-value works (typically up to £3-4m) across Stansted Airport. Key Responsibilities:

Administering NEC contracts, managing processes end-to-end
Drafting, managing, and running tenders
Managing high-volume, lower-value projects within complex stakeholder environments
Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient delivery of works
Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures
Conducting cost analyses and assessments
Preparing and reviewing detailed reports and documentation
Maintaining robust relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying
Experience in administering NEC contracts
Hands-on experience in drafting and running tenders
Understanding of high-volume, lower-value project management
Experience within the airport/aviation sector is desirable
Ability to work full-time on-site initially, transitioning to a hybrid working pattern
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in cost analysis and reporting
