Intumescant Paint Sprayer

Encon Staffing are currently looking for an Intumescant Fire Protection Sprayer in Selby, YO8

Requirements:
CSCS
Start Date: 16/01/2026
Need Blue CSCS + IPAF (IPAF is desirable)

Key Responsibilities:
• Apply intumescent paint/coatings to structural steel using airless spray equipment
• Measure wet and dry film thickness (WFT/DFT) to meet specification
• Ensure proper surface preparation and priming
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is used safely and efficiently
• Work closely with site supervisors to meet project deadlines
• Follow all health & safety regulations and site procedures
• Keep accurate records of completed work

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an intumescent sprayer (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of fire-protection coating systems
• Ability to read and interpret specification sheets
• Valid CSCS Blue Card (Minimum)
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:
• Airless spray certifications
• Experience applying epoxy and other protective coatings
• IPAF or PASMA certification
