Our client, a Housing Association in the Glasgow region, is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Officer to join their team for an initial period of 3 months. This role focusses on supporting the property services team in delivering a robust planned and reactive maintenance service to their tenants, with a high level of customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of properties to identify maintenance needs.
- Carry out planned maintenance tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality work.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on progress.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing their concerns and queries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property maintenance, preferably within the housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
