Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to develop your career on a Highway Schemes across London and the South? Then a role with this growing Regional Contractor could be for you.

My client is a growing Regional Civil Engineering Contractor delivering Schemes for multiple clients across the Highways Sector. They are looking to add a Project Manager to lead a scheme in Essex.

As Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include;

* Leading project teams to exceed expectations, ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery.

* Fostering strong engagement with stakeholders and local communities to create positive project outcomes.

* Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, contracts, and governance processes.

* Driving financial performance through effective cost control, accurate forecasting, and profit accountability.

* Promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.

* Mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices to enhance skills and project outcomes.

Knowledge / Education / Skills:

* Commercial awareness, and good level of programming and contract knowledge. Familiarity with NEC contracts, and an understanding of how project and package P&L impacts on corporate finances.

* Experience managing a projects up to £30m.

* Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.

* Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.

* Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
