Bennett & Game are pleased to be working with a well-established regional contractor based in Portsmouth, delivering a wide range of commercial, residential, refurbishment and fitout projects across the South. With a forecast turnover of £14m for this year and a strong pipeline of secured work, the business continues to grow and is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. Project values range from £15k – £7M

This is a growth role that would suit a strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking progression or an established Quantity Surveyor. The position is based from their Portsmouth office with hybrid working available and regular site visits across the region.

Quantity Surveyor Salary & Benefits

Salary: £40k – £60k DOE

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview

Supporting and leading commercial management across a varied portfolio of projects
Preparing valuations, variations, cost reports and final accounts
Procurement of subcontract packages and commercial administration
Site visits, progress checks and stakeholder liaison
Assisting with tenders, cost planning and commercial risk management
Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring contract compliance

Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements

Open to candidates from main contracting or fit-out/refurbishment backgrounds
Suitable for strong Assistant Quantity Surveyors seeking promotion or established QSs
Strong commercial, numerical and contractual understanding
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Full UK driving licence
