Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a commercially aware Quantity Surveyor with 3-4 years' experience and strong prior knowledge of groundworks.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects valued between £500k – £2.5m, working closely with site and senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of groundworks projects from start to final account
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, interim valuations and final accounts
Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments
Assess variations, prepare claims and support negotiations
Monitor project costs, cashflow forecasting and reporting
Attend site and commercial meetings as requiredAbout You

3-4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Strong prior knowledge and experience within groundworks
Experience managing projects valued £500k – £2.5m
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Relevant construction or surveying qualification desirable
Full UK driving licence
