Hr Generalist
A loyal client to Sphere, are looking to employ a HR Generalist with immediate effect.
Your new company are a large UK Main Contractor, who specialise in Construction, Fit Out, and Major Regeneration schemes.
My client are looking for a candidate that is capable of managing the HR and Social Value function for a large construction project in Bristol. Due to this, the ideal candidate will come from one of those backgrounds.
With regards to the Social Value element of the role, this will involve visiting Schools, Universities, Prisons, and Colleges, whilst recording Social Value Information for the project and maintaining good relationships with the relevant contacts at these institutions. Due to this, you will need to have transport and a driving license.
In terms of the HR element of the role, this will involve creating job offers, chairing back to work meetings, sickness and absence information, reviews, and complaints etc.
Additional Information:
* Working Hours: 20 – 35 hours per week (flexible). This can be between school hours and pick up / drop off, 3 full days per week (2 days off), or 5 short days for example.
* Salary: £35K – £40K (pro rata based on the hours you choose to work).
* Monthly meetings in Belfast (where applicable and if at all possible).
* Reporting into a People Director in Belfast and Project Director based on site.
The development in question, is a large new build major project in Bristol. It will be constructed over a minimum of 5/7 years and multiple phases. The end product will consist of a European Headquarters and Landscaped Campus, including an Auditorium, Office Blocks, Training Facilities, Restaurant, Kitchens, and underground Car Park.
