Project Performance Manager – Construction

Talented People is partnering with a major construction to recruit an experienced Project Manager. This is a key role supporting the successful delivery of complex construction projects, providing critical insight across cost, schedule, risk, and performance.

Salary on offer for this role is up to £70k dependent on experience and based at their Havant site.

The Role

As their Project Manager, you will play a central role in monitoring and improving project performance, acting as the link between project management, design, and delivery teams. You will provide high-quality reporting and strategic insight to senior stakeholders, while driving continuous improvement across project controls processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and dashboards

* Provide continuity between design, cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating functions

* Produce monthly reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders

* Provide project controls insight to support strategic decision-making and lessons learned

* Support project reviews and senior-level performance meetings

* Structure project requirements and manage changes to contract scope

* Coordinate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring

* Develop and maintain organisation structures and project maps

* Maintain and manage the project schedule alongside Project Planners

* Support collaboration teams with production and updating of project deliverables

* Act as a key interface between project management and execution teams

* Proactively challenge processes and suggest improvements to enhance project performance

Experience and Knowledge needed:

* Strong understanding of scheduling, cost forecasting, dashboards, and senior-level reporting

* Experience working on Design & Build projects

* Knowledge of BIM, document management systems, and construction techniques

* Strong data skills, including Excel Queries and Power BI

* Experience on large, complex construction projects (highly advantageous)

* Joint venture project experience desirable

* Practical experience with NEC contracts and change management advantageous

* Experience with Auto Desk Construction Cloud and Power BI

* Good understand of information management systems
