We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Principal Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer to join a growing team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, supporting flood risk and drainage strategy, design, and planning processes.

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience in flood risk and drainage strategy and design.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Graduate-level qualification in a relevant subject.

Several years of industry experience with comprehensive knowledge of the Flood Risk Assessment process.

Passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead flood risk and drainage input on a variety of projects, including:

*

Major mixed-use urban extensions

*

City centre regeneration schemes

*

Employment land development

*

Leisure, tourism, and renewable energy projects

*

Retirement accommodation, affordable housing, and rural employment sites

*

Collaborate with civil engineers, technicians, and transport and infrastructure teams.

*

Manage project delivery in line with agreed programs and budgets.

*

Take on increasing management and leadership responsibilities over time, including leading the Flood Risk and Drainage team.
