Site Engineer

Our client, a leading contractor, is seeking a capable Site Engineer to join a large multi-million-pound project in Chichester. The project involves groundworks, reinforced concrete structures, and Section 278 works, with a duration of approximately 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and deliver groundworks and reinforced concrete structure works

*

Manage and coordinate Section 278 works and on-site teams

*

Support junior engineers and provide technical guidance

*

Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with design and specifications

*

Utilize CAD and the latest survey equipment to plan and execute works

*

Take a proactive approach to all aspects of site engineering

Candidate Requirements:

*

Minimum 5 years’ standalone site engineering experience

*

Proven track record delivering on large-scale developments

*

Strong CAD skills and familiarity with survey equipment

*

Ability to assist and mentor junior engineers

*

Based within a commutable distance to site

*

Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
