The Company
Our client, leading UK fit-out contractor delivering high-quality Cat A and Cat B commercial projects for a prestigious portfolio of blue-chip clients are currently seeking an experienced senior estimator to join their City of London-based team.
The business has a strong pipeline of central London work and a reputation for professionalism, repeat business, and well-run projects.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the pre-construction team, working closely with the Estimating Director on high-value tenders across Central London.
You will play a key role in the preparation, management, and submission of competitive tenders, contributing to bid strategy and value engineering while maintaining commercial accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost plans and tenders for Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects up to £50m
*
Lead tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
*
Build and manage supply chain pricing and subcontractor engagement
*
Attend tender review meetings and contribute to bid strategy
*
Identify value engineering and risk opportunities
*
Work collaboratively with pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams
*
Support junior estimators where required
Experience & Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the London commercial fit-out market
*
Strong background delivering Cat A and Cat B projects
*
Demonstrable experience tendering for Central London schemes
*
Experience working on projects up to £50m
*
Ability to show career stability and longevity on CV
*
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
*
Confident communicator with clients, consultants, and supply chain
