SUB AGENT – MAJOR AIRPORT EXPANSION (MANCHESTER REGION)

A well-established Tier 1 contractor specialising in major civil engineering and infrastructure projects is recruiting a Sub Agent for a large-scale airport expansion in the Manchester region.

The project includes significant new-build facilities, infrastructure corridors, highways, drainage networks, and enabling works, forming part of the west-side airport expansion. This is a long-term opportunity for a strong delivery-focused individual.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Agent with overall project and section delivery

*

Managing engineering, supervision, and subcontractor teams

*

Planning, sequencing, and monitoring works on site

*

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards

*

Progress reporting, programme input, and coordination with stakeholders

*

Driving productivity and maintaining high delivery standards

Candidate Requirements

*

Strong background in general civil engineering and infrastructure

*

Experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Section Engineer on major projects

*

Proven ability to manage teams and complex work fronts

*

Commercial and programme awareness

*

Stable and continuous employment history on similar long-term schemes
