The Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Bid Manager to coordinate and produce winning tender submissions. You will take ownership of the bid process, ensuring that all proposals are professionally presented, technically accurate, and submitted on time.
You will work closely with the Pre-Construction team and Commercial Director to capture the company’s unique value proposition for every project.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the Bid Lifecycle: Coordinate PQQs and Full Tenders from initial inquiry to final submission.

Content Writing: Create compelling, project-specific written responses that highlight the company’s expertise and sustainability credentials.

Team Coordination: Gather technical and financial information from Estimators, Site Managers, and Design teams.
*
Compliance & Quality: Ensure all bid documentation meets the client’s specific requirements and maintains a high professional standard.

Graphic Presentation: Work on the layout and visual appeal of bid documents to ensure they stand out to clients.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Experience: 2–4+ years of experience in a Bid Writing or Bid Coordination role within the Construction industry.
*
Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to turn technical jargon into easy-to-read, persuasive content.
*
Organisation: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
*
Knowledge: Familiarity with public sector frameworks (e.g., Education) is an advantage but not essential.
*
Software: Proficient in MS Office; experience with InDesign or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
