Commercial Manager/Lead – Specialist Subcontractor
Grays, Essex | Up to £80,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a very busy and well-established specialist subcontractor based near Grays, Essex, seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead their commercial function.

This is a key senior hire, responsible for overseeing a team of QSs and managing the commercial performance of numerous live projects, reporting to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors

* Full commercial control from pre-contract to final account

* Cost control, forecasting, and risk management

* Contractual management and client liaison

Requirements:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying (or similar)

* Proven Commercial Manager or Senior QS (subcontractor background essential)

* Strong leadership and commercial capability

* Able to operate in a fast-paced, high pressure, high-volume environment

Package:

* Up to £80,000 salary
