Senior Project Manager

An independent construction consultancy based in Leicester Square are searching for a professional and commercially aware Senior Project Manager that brings consultancy experience and strong exposure to delivering the whole lifecycle of hotel projects.

The Company that the Senior Project Manager will join:

The Senior Project Manager will be joining a small and close-knit consultancy that have built a reputation for delivering excellent schemes in the hotel sector. The Senior Project Manager will be running multiple programme of works which include new build, refurbishment and fit outs with contact values up to £50m.

The Senior Project Manager role:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from start-finish, whilst providing support to junior members of the project management division. The Senior Project Manager will be working alongside the Project Director and an Associate Director, but will be given the responsibility of supporting the junior team which includes 1x Assistant Project Managers and 2x Project Managers.

You will be responsible for:

Collaborating with whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub contractors
Provide support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team
Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Project Director weekly
Reviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints
Arranging meetings with clients
Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standardsSenior Project Manager requirements:

Previous experience working for a project and cost consultancy
Hotel experience would be ideal
MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
BSc/MSc Project Management
Confident at managing schemes simultaneously
Previous experience leading a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat would be offered:

£70,000-£80,000 per annum salary package
