Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor/Manager
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Contract: Project-based

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor/Manager to join a key project in Avonmouth, Bristol. This position will involve overseeing safety measures for ongoing repair works on a construction site, ensuring that all activities are compliant with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety Management: Lead and manage health and safety activities for repair works on the site.
Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS): Prepare, review, and approve RAMS for all tasks associated with the project.
Confined Space & Working at Height: Oversee and enforce safe systems of work for confined space entry and working at height.
Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Training & Toolbox Talks: Deliver safety briefings and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are trained and competent for their tasks.
Incident Management: Investigate and report any incidents or near misses, implementing preventive measures and lessons learned.Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within industrial or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of risk assessments, method statements, confined space entry, and working at height.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar health and safety qualification.
In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience delivering training and safety briefings.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What We Offer:
