The Marine/Civils Site Agent job opportunity itself, where you will be responsible for managing the on-site delivery of civil engineering or marine infrastructure projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the specified quality. This role oversees daily site operations, coordinates subcontractors and labour, manages site health and safety, and ensures compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The Site Agent is a key point of contact for site-level decision- making and plays a critical role in delivering successful project outcomes.

More specifically:

Site-based role with travel across multiple project locations in the UK.

Outdoor work in all weather conditions; use of PPE is mandatory.

Extended working hours and weekend work may be required to meet programme

May involve overnight stays and remote working depending on project location

You will get

As Marine/Civils Site Agent, you will enjoy a salary up to £55K + comprehensive package!  

Benefits include: Company vehicle, fuelcard, company bonus, private health, pension, sick pay, 3 x death in service. Subsistence is £25 per night.

You will have

To be successful as Marine/Civils Site Agent you will have a healthy mix of the following:

HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

CSCS (Site Manager or Supervisor level) and SMSTS certification required.

First Aid at Work, Temporary Works Supervisor or other relevant site certifications

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a site management or supervisory role, preferably on marine or civil engineering projects

Experience working with NEC or JCT contracts and knowledge of construction documents

Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and temporary work

Excellent communication and team coordination capabilities

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract requirements

Confident in reporting, planning, and managing site-level activities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project planning tools beneficial

Full UK driving licence (essential)
