Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor (London)

Apex Resources Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 main contractor seeking an experienced and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value projects up to £200m across the capital and South East.

About the Role

You’ll support the commercial delivery of major developments, working closely with site teams and senior stakeholders to manage cost, risk and procurement from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage cost plans, procurement strategies, and commercial reporting

*

Measure and value work in progress, including interim valuations and final accounts

*

Lead subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations

*

Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risk

*

Manage variations, claims and contract correspondence

*

Provide proactive commercial support to the project delivery team

About You

*

Qualified or part-qualified Quantity Surveyor (RICS / CIQS or equivalent)

*

Demonstrable experience on projects up to £200m

*

Strong contractual awareness (JCT/NEC) with excellent negotiation skills

*

Commercially focused with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
