Salary: £45k – £55k + package
We are working with a Birmingham-based design and build office fit-out company, delivering high-quality commercial interiors across office, education, and related sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of projects from start to completion.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site activities from commencement to practical completion
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades on site
Monitor programme and report progress to the Project Manager
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections
Ensure quality control and snag-free handovers
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams on site matters
Maintain accurate site records and reports
About You
Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit-out / interiors
Background in design and build environments preferred
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management processes
Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades effectively
Excellent organisational and communication skills
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
Full UK driving licence
