We are working with a well-established and highly regarded M&E contractor based in Cambridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager. The role will involve managing large-scale commercial projects from pre-construction through to final handover, with mechanical values up to £8 million.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage mechanical services packages on large commercial projects from inception to completion.
• Take full ownership of project delivery including programme, cost control, quality, and health & safety.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal delivery teams.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, and material scheduling.
• Oversee commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Produce regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E / building services sector.
• Experience delivering commercial projects, ideally with values up to £8m.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
• Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (preferred)
• SMSTS / CSCS (or willingness to obtain)
