Role Overview
The Electrical Supervisor will join a major commercial project in London, overseeing electrical works on a high-value commercial office fit-out project. The scope includes shell & core areas, office spaces, and laboratory environments. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of electrical activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Supervise and coordinate electrical operatives and subcontractors on site.
● Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and project specifications.
● Manage health and safety on site, ensuring RAMS are followed at all times.
● Liaise closely with the Project Manager and other trades to maintain programme.
● Carry out site inspections and quality checks.
● Assist with planning, progress reporting, and resolving site issues.
● Ensure works are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
● Electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
● SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
● Proven experience supervising electrical works on commercial projects.
● Strong background in commercial office fit-out, shell & core, and office/lab environments.
● Good understanding of health and safety and site management procedures.
● Strong communication and leadership skills.
