Role: Associate Building Surveyor
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum

About the role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive building surveys and prepare detailed reports.
- Manage and oversee refurbishment and renovation projects from inception to completion.
- Provide expert advice on building defects, maintenance, and repair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- MRICS qualification or working towards it.
- Proven experience in building surveying, preferably in a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology.
