Job Description
In an exclusive partnership, we are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Quantity Surveyors to join a Local Authority based in the Glasgow Region, in a temporary to permanent contract. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience and develop their careers within a supportive and dynamic environment – with the opportunity for a permanent role to be offered within initial contract duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
- Conduct site visits and assessments
- Support in the preparation of tender documents and contracts
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
