Document Controller – Greater Manchester – £35k – £40k – Permanent – Specialist Cleanroom & Life Sciences Projects!
Our client works with world leading organisations across the pharmaceutical, life science, and healthcare sectors, delivering cutting edge cleanrooms, laboratories, and highly regulated environments. Due to continued project growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Document Controller to support their project teams across the Greater Manchester region.
The Role
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing all project documentation and administrative functions to support the wider project team. This role is critical in ensuring documentation is controlled, compliant, and communicated effectively across internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Requirements
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing documentation across highly regulated projects, ensuring alignment with ISO19650 and project specific BIM Execution Plans. Experience within construction, engineering, or regulated environments is preferred but not essential.
To be successful, you should be competent in the following:
* Operation of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ideally M-Files
* Uploading and managing documentation on client platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, 4Projects, or SharePoint
* Document control in line with ISO19650 standards
* Management of document registers, trackers, and schedules
* RFI, design, and engineering documentation control
* Quality checking, numbering, and referencing of documentation
* Distribution of internal and external project documentation
* Taking and issuing meeting minutes
* Liaison with engineers, design leads, subcontractors, and clients
* Chasing approvals, close-outs, and outstanding documentation
