Are you a Quantity Surveyor with a Tier One background who is looking for a new, exciting opportunity to work with one of the biggest construction names in the market?
If the answer is yes, I may have just the role for you!
Your first project would be one of the company’s major projects based in Leicestershire – projects that will follow are all based regionally within the Midlands.
Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor within the Major Projects division, you will be fully responsible for managing your assigned projects or packages. You will be expected to lead with a high level of commercial expertise, ensuring adherence to compliance, financial viability, and the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Involvement in managing subcontracted work packages and direct collaboration with commercial leadership on bidding approaches, both internal and external, is expected.
- A focus on maximising project financial performance through the effective handling of these external agreements will be necessary.
- Leading the acquisition process, including issuing bid invitations, reconciling package details, and generating subcontract agreements, will be a primary task.
- Managing all stages of pre-contract and post-contract activities and reporting, alongside interaction with clients and sector experts, will also be part of the role.
What you’ll need to succeed
- BSc / MSc qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (or senior / above).
- It is essential you have worked for a Tier One Contractor – those who apply and do not have this experience will not be considered.
- Experience working on packages up to £15m would be beneficial.
