Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer (FM – Electrical Bias)
The Role:
We are seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer with Electrical bias to join our Facilities Management team covering Data Centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in a growing team, with the potential for long-term career development and progression.
You will be responsible for carrying out electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and other essential building services tasks across a variety of sites. This role offers diversity in your day-to-day responsibilities, with some days spent at a single site and others covering multiple locations.
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting electrical PPM and reactive tasks to exceed customer expectations.
Maintaining HVAC, mechanical, and fabric aspects of the building as required.
Managing contractor control duties and ensuring work meets standards.
Issuing Permits to Work and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations.
Offering a professional service while representing the company and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Evaluating equipment performance and ensuring it operates to specified criteria.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely administration.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills/Experience:
Experience in a mobile role within Facilities Management (FM), with knowledge of electrical and AC PPM.
Fully qualified with 18th Edition, NVQ or C&G Installations, AM2. F-Gas certification is an advantage.
A proactive approach to client liaison and problem-solving.
A valid driver's license (a company vehicle/allowance is provided).
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in mobile engineering within FM in critical environments
Familiarity with contractor monitoring and control.
Experience working with UPS
