Would you keen to work for a small, well established structural design practice near Southend, where you will be given hands on training by an FIStructE qualified Director? Do you have 2-5 years of buildings structures design experience and the ability to use Autocad too?

This flexible and friendly small firm could also offer future Directorship prospects in the long term.

You will be given autonomy for your own projects, under supervision, and exposure to all aspects of the work, which you would not get in a bigger firm.

The offices are close to Rochford station, though a car driver would be preferable for attending site visits. The practice is incredibly busy with work and needs more people to be able to cope! Projects range from a few hundred pounds in value up to £10m. Workload is very varied including bespoke one-off houses, large new build blocks of flats, extensions, conversions, industrial sheds, schools, LA work, surveys, inspections and defect analysis.

You must be able to design in all the main materials and use Autocad as well. Excellent communication skills are essential. Priority will be given to local candidates.
