Renewables Manager – Full Time, Permanent

We have a full-time permanent position for a Renewables Manager to join our team in Llantrisant, Cardiff. The organisation designs, specifies and installs mechanical and electrical services across a wide range of projects within the commercial, industrial, government and healthcare sectors, and has an excellent reputation for delivery, quality and reliability.

As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in the delivery of renewable technologies, ensuring customers experience a seamless service before and after installation. You will be responsible for liaising with customers post-sale and pre-installation, responding to queries, and providing accurate information in line with company policies and processes.

The role focuses on delivering green energy solutions including:

* Solar PV installations

* Battery storage systems

You will ensure all installations meet industry and company standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

* Create detailed designs for photovoltaic energy systems and assess sites for suitability

* Calculate energy output and performance, ensuring designs comply with regulations and preparing technical documentation for installation

* Communicate effectively with customers post-sale and pre-installation, ensuring alignment with business processes

* Collaborate with installers and clients, keeping up to date with new solar technologies and industry standards

* Deliver efficient, safe and cost-effective renewable energy solutions

* Provide clear, accurate and timely information about products and services

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation

* Ensure all customers receive relevant and timely support tailored to their needs

Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and organised individual who is detail-oriented and able to manage tasks efficiently. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, as well as:

* Self-motivated and confident working independently while also being a strong team player

* IT literate with proficiency in mainstream software such as Excel, Word and email systems

* Ability to perform complex calculations for energy output and system performance

* Strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical systems and relevant regulations

* Ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, engineers and customers
