Your new role
Whilst the role will be extremely varied, typical responsibilities could include:
- Manage software products, including updates and customisation.
- Implement and evaluate BIM-related software and technologies.
- Stay updated on best practices for Revit Architecture and other BIM software.
- Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards.
- Maintain software templates and ensure quality control.
- Automate routines to support standards and productivity.
- Chair the BIM committee and report on implementation.
- Provide hardware and network support.
- Troubleshoot issues and liaise with vendors and support staff.
- Coordinate project standards, assist in setup, modelling, and detailing.
- Resolve design issues and manage digital documents.
- Participate in industry organisations and events.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 4+ years BIM/Revit MEP experience
- In-depth working knowledge of current Revit and BIM applications
- Experience of relevant software such as Revit, Navisworks & BIM360
- Experience of computational tools such as Dynamo and its benefits are desirable
- Have a good working knowledge of industry standards such as ISO:19650 BS1192, PAS1192 and associated documents
