Location: Ramsgate
Salary: Circa £55,000 – £65,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a well-established specialist in Passive Fire Protection and associated works, is expanding their operational team due to sustained growth. They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee small to large-scale projects across the UK.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex contracts.

The Role
• Oversee delivery of multiple projects to technical and contractual standards
• Manage day‑to‑day project performance ensuring safety, timelines and profitability
• Estimate and quantify works
• Build trusted relationships with clients and project teams
• Lead and support site teams
• Suggest and develop improved ways of working
• Provide operational and commercial support including programmes, plans and risk assessments
• Monitor progress against targets and provide clear instructions to teams
• Maintain and develop positive subcontractor relationships
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and company procedures
• Ensure RAMS are in place for all works
• Resolve queries or complaints promptly
• Attend internal and client meetings
• Maintain HSEQ in line with legislation
The Person
• Confident, motivated and able to perform under pressure
• Strong track record delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
• Proven technical and contract management ability
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of CDM and HSEQ requirements
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Ability to prepare detailed progress reports
Must Have
• Minimum 3 years’ industry experience
• Valid CSCS
• Valid SMSTS
• Full clean UK driving licence
