Quantity Surveyor

An established and highly respected contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of complex construction works across London and the South East.

This role would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with experience in demolition, civils, or groundworks, or someone from a main contractor background who has worked in a self-delivery environment.

The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects, including:

Cost management and financial reporting

*

Procurement of subcontractors and materials

*

Valuations, variations, and final accounts

*

Contract administration under NEC and/or JCT forms

*

Working closely with operational teams to maximise value and control risk

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need:

A commercial degree (Quantity Surveying or similar)

*

Proven experience in demolition, civils, or groundworks, or
experience with a main contractor delivering works in-house

*

Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts (openness to either is welcomed)

*

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

*

The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced delivery environment
