Hours: 10 hours per day – Monday to Saturday
Start: Mondy 2nd Febraury

Rate: £30.00 per hour Monday to Friday / £35.00 per hour weekend – PAYE inc hol pay

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor to support a new build power generation project in Bedford. This is a short-term assignment overseeing piping installation activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day piping activities on a live power generation construction site

* Coordinate pipefitters, welders, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow

* Ensure all works are carried out in line with project drawings, specifications, and method statements

* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance

* Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, and task risk assessments

* Liaise with site management, QA/QC, and other discipline supervisors

* Monitor progress against programme and report on issues or delays

* Ensure materials, permits, and access are in place ahead of works

* Support inspection and testing activities as required

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Piping Supervisor on power generation or energy infrastructure projects

* Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation methods, and site sequencing

* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential

* Valid CSCS card

* Strong understanding of UK HSE regulations

* Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with site stakeholders

* Experience working on new build projects preferred
