Location: Central Birmingham (office & site-based)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

About the Role

Think Recruitment is working with a busy and growing interiors contractor to find a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting Project Managers with the admin, coordination, and communication that keeps fit-out projects running smoothly from start to finish.

You'll work closely with office teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, while also attending sites regularly to support progress tracking and quality checks. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being right at the centre of project activity.

Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day project administration and maintaining accurate project documentation
Supporting Project Managers with scheduling, reporting, and general coordination
Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers to keep works running to programme
Assisting with and improving buying and procurement processes
Raising purchase orders and helping track orders, deliveries, and costs
Attending site visits with Project Managers
Taking site notes, snagging lists, and tracking actions to completion
Helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards

What We're Looking For

Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with site teams and office staff
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
Proactive attitude – someone who takes initiative and solves problems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Full UK driving licence (or working towards) preferred due to site visits

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous experience in construction, interiors, or fit-out projects
Experience with procurement or buying processes
Familiarity with reading drawings or construction document
