About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work as part of a commercial team for a privately-owned Main Contractor with a £900m turnover. They have an office based in City of London with projects across Central London. They predominately focus on leisure, lab, commercial and student accommodation projects valued from £60m – £100m. This company have a strong pipeline for 2026 as they are winning a lot of work and are very busy.

They operate across the whole of the UK and have been established for over 100 years.

You role will include, but not limited too:

Managing subcontract packages
Managing payments to subcontractors
Valuations and variations
Subcontractor negotiations
CVRsKey Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate with experience working with another main contractor managing packages under JCT contract. Someone who is capable of working as part of a team and also manage their work independently.

You will have a construction related degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor
