Senior EHS Advisor- Data Centre- Zurich & Groningen
Falcon Green is delighted to be partnering with one of Europe’s leading and most reputable contractors, renowned for delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Education, Healthcare, and Life Sciences sectors.
They are currently seeking an experienced Senior EHS Advisor to join a high-performing team on a Data Centre project in Groningen and Zurich. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly competent EHS professional to play a key role in supporting site leadership and driving best-in-class health, safety, and environmental standards on a high-profile, mission-critical project.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large-scale or mission-critical construction environments and a confident, hands-on approach to EHS leadership on site.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior EHS Advisor

Support and assist in leading the implementation and continuous improvement of all Environmental, Health & Safety systems on site
*
Act as a senior EHS presence, providing guidance and support to site management, engineers, subcontractors, and operatives
*
Promote and drive a positive, proactive safety culture through visible leadership and site engagement
*
Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and EHS performance reviews
*
Advise site teams on EHS best practice, legal obligations, and client standards
*
Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring effective reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
*
Ensure compliance with Dutch and EU Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
*
Review and approve risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems
*
Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training as required
*
Support regulatory inspections, client reviews, and internal/external audits
Requirements:
*
Assist in mentoring junior EHS team members where required
*
Degree or third-level qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related discipline
*
Recognised EHS qualification (NEBOSH, HVK, or equivalent)
*
5–8+ years’ experience in an EHS role within construction or mission-critical environments
*
Strong working knowledge of Dutch / German Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
*
Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other complex construction projects
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Proactive, site-based, and solutions-focused approach
*
Fluent in English; Dutch/ German language skills highly desirable
