Position: Site Engineer

Salary/Rate: £325.00 to £375.00 per shift

TLG Infrastructure are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a civil engineering project involving earthworks, ground stabilisation and associated infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out setting out and surveying duties using GPS, total stations and other site equipment
Interpret drawings, specifications and design information
Establish control points, levels and coordinates across the project
Manage and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures
Maintain accurate site records, as-built information and setting-out data
Prepare method statements, risk assessments and inspection test plans (ITPs)
Liaise with site management, subcontractors and the client's representatives
Monitor works to ensure compliance with design, specifications and tolerances
Assist with technical queries and problem solving on site
Support daily site operations and programme deliveryRequirements

Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience in setting out for civil engineering and earthworks projects
Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation
Competent in the use of surveying equipment and software
Knowledge of ground stabilisation techniques (desirable)
Good communication and organisational skills
CSCS card (or equivalent)
