A well-established £90m turnover M&E contractor based in Essex is looking to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. The business specialises in commercial projects up to £15m M&E value.

Role Overview

Mechanical take-offs from drawings and tender information

Full document control for tenders

Liaison with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing

Close coordination with Electrical Estimators to deliver fully compliant M&E tenders

Review designs, specifications, and Value Engineering options

Input take-offs into Trimble, develop and finalise quotations

Prepare tender adjudications and report directly to the Director

Requirements

Experience as a Mechanical Estimator within an M&E contracting environment

Strong commercial project background

Knowledge of current mechanical regulations and best practice

Estimating software experience (Trimble preferred)

Strong organisational and communication skills
