Electrical Quantity Surveyor – Commercial M&E

TLG are recruiting an Electrically biased M&E QS for a £90m turnover M&E contractor, specialising in the delivery of commercial projects up to £15m M&E value. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to work on high-quality commercial projects within a forward-thinking and financially secure business.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial management of electrical packages on live projects

Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

Procurement and management of subcontractor packages

Valuations, variations, and final accounts

Working closely with project and site teams to ensure commercial control

Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the M&E or electrical contracting sector

Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)

Experience working on commercial construction projects

Strong commercial awareness and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
