Freelance Site Supervisor Role – Outside IR35 – Oxfordshire
Your new company
You will be working for a widely recognised subcontractor who has a strong presence in the civil engineering highways and rail sectors, working on large value schemes such as the HS2 and road-widening schemes. This subcontractor specialises in vegetation management and fencing solutions.
Your new role
You will be working as a Site Supervisor and will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing daily operations on site, ensuring that work is carried out according to health and safety regulations, plans, specifications and timelines whilst co-ordinating with stakeholders such as subcontractors and suppliers.
In addition to this, you will maintain records of inspections and test results, uphold site diaries and progress reports and act as one of the main points of contact between the site and head office.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need experience within the Civil Engineering industry (Rail and Highway projects) as a Supervisor and have the correct qualifications, such as a Gold CSCS Card and an SSSTS, as this is a requirement. Ideally, you will have experience in vegetation management/clearance however this isn’t essential.
