An award winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect to join its Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional looking to develop their career within a well established, highly respected practice.

The Role & Responsibilities:

Working collaboratively with Architects and wider design teams to deliver projects from planning through to construction
Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction packages and detailed design information
Preparing and coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
Developing and managing NBS specifications
Coordinating technical information with consultants, including structural, civil and MEP engineers
Attending site visits, design team meetings and liaising with contractors as required
Supporting projects during construction stages, responding to technical queries and site issues
Working within JCT and NEC contract frameworks
Ensuring technical compliance with current Building Regulations and best practice standards
 Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)
Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect within a UK practice
Strong technical knowledge and ability to produce coordinated construction information
Revit proficiency is mandatory
Experience preparing technical details, specifications and regulatory submissions
Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
Knowledge of NBS specifications
Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress professionally
MCIAT chartership achieved or working towards (full support provided)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
Proficiency in Revit
