Senior Quantity Surveyor – Permanent

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading social housing contractor on a permanent contract based in Chippenham.

This role supports a well-established, high-value contract covering over 7,500 social housing properties across the South West. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of a diverse range of services, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works, and Electrical Services.

You’ll be working with a stable, forward-thinking contractor known for strong client relationships, consistent workload, and a collaborative culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term security, career progression, and involvement in a varied and technically interesting portfolio

The Role:

* Lead commercial control across a social housing contract

* Maximise contractual entitlement and cash flow

* Produce CVRs, forecasts and management reports

* Support and manage commercial teams

* Act as point of contact for commercial queries and disputes

Requirements

* QS degree or equivalent, or 5+ years’ relevant experience

* Strong commercial and financial acumen

* Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)

* Line management experience

* Full UK driving licence
