Carpentry Estimator – Shop Fitting / Commercial Fit-Out

Salary £45,000 – £55,000

We’re looking for an experienced Carpentry Estimator to join this companies growing team, working on high-quality shop fitting and commercial fit-out projects.

This is a key role for someone who understands carpentry packages inside out and can confidently price projects from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing accurate estimates and take-offs for carpentry and joinery works

* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents

* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

* Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost efficiencies

* Assisting with tender submissions and commercial reviews

* Working closely with project managers and site teams

About You:

* Proven experience as a carpentry estimator, ideally within shop fitting or commercial fit-out

* Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and interior fit-out works

* Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Detail-oriented with strong numerical and organisational skills

* Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused approach

* Experience with estimating software is an advantage
