Job Title: Contracts Manager – Mechanical Building Services (HVAC)

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical building services contractor delivering high-quality HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple HVAC contracts from inception to completion

*

Plan, execute, and deliver projects in line with client expectations

*

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies

*

Control project budgets, programmes, and resources to ensure profitability and timely delivery

*

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships

*

Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance

*

Lead, mentor, and manage project teams

*

Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within mechanical building services (HVAC)

*

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical project delivery

*

Solid understanding of health & safety and industry standards

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

*

Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively

*

Proficient with project management tools and software

*

Minimum 3 years’ Contracts Management experience (required)

*

HVAC / Mechanical Building Services experience (preferred)

*

HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)

*

SMSTS or IOSH certification (preferred)

*

Full UK Driving Licence
