We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction and maintenance contractor, with a long history of delivering high-quality building services from residential and social housing works to commercial projects across the Suffolk and surrounding area. The company is known for its commitment to professionalism, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to support delivery teams by carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks across properties and project sites.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out general building maintenance and repairs across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling).

*

Supporting responsive and planned maintenance work.

*

Completing snagging tasks and making good to high standards.

*

Working safely and efficiently in occupied properties and live environments.

*

Liaising with site teams, supervisors, clients, and residents in a professional manner.

*

Managing materials, tools, and equipment to complete tasks within schedule.

*

Maintaining tidy, safe work areas and reporting on progress.

About You

You will be a reliable and adaptable tradesperson with experience across multiple trades and a proactive approach to work.

Essential skills & experience:

*

Proven experience as a Multi-Trader, Maintenance Operative, or similar role in a building maintenance / refurbishment environment.

*

Strong multi-trade skills such as carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general repairs.

*

Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes.

*

Good communication skills and a professional attitude with clients and colleagues.

*

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage your workload effectively.

*

Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to job sites in East Anglia.
