A leading UK property and development consultancy are now seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity is focused on delivering education sector projects across London and the South East. The Project Quantity Surveyor will work on live schemes from pre-contract through to final account, providing full quantity surveying services. This role is well suited to a driven quantity surveyor looking to progress within a professional surveying environment where structured development and project exposure are central. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be based from modern offices with flexible working arrangements.

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for managing education projects through the full construction lifecycle, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

The role will include:

Providing full quantity surveying services on education sector projects
Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
Procurement and tendering of subcontract packages
Contract administration and change control
Valuations, variations and final accounts
Working closely with project managers, design teams and site teamsThe Project Quantity Surveyor?

You will be a commercially aware Project Quantity Surveyor with relevant experience in UK construction. Applications from non-construction backgrounds will not be considered.

The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Proven experience delivering education sector projects
Strong understanding of UK construction contracts
Ability to manage costs and communicate clearly with stakeholders
Working towards or holding MRICS or equivalent professional qualificationIn return……?

£50,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
