A Global, UK based construction consultancy are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London-based infrastructure team. This Senior Quantity Surveyor role sits within a dedicated quantity surveying function delivering major civils and infrastructure schemes. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide client-facing surveying services while supporting commercial delivery across complex projects. This opportunity suits a driven quantity surveyor looking to take responsibility within a structured quantity surveying environment focused on long-term infrastructure work.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an established consultancy operating across civils, infrastructure and major capital programmes. The business continues to secure repeat work through frameworks and long-term commissions, offering consistency of workload and defined career progression for experienced quantity surveyor professionals. The London team works closely with national infrastructure clients and delivery partners.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of civils and infrastructure projects from early cost advice through to final account.

The role will include:

Delivering full quantity surveying services on civils and infrastructure projects
Cost planning, estimating and budget management
Procurement and management of supply chain packages
Contract administration and commercial risk management
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts
Preparing reports for clients and internal stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior quantity surveyor staffThe Senior Quantity Surveyor?

You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in UK infrastructure or civil engineering projects. Applications from non-construction backgrounds will not be considered.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Demonstrable experience delivering civils and infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of UK construction contracts
Proven client-facing experience
MRICS status or working towards chartershipIn return……?

£70,000 – £80,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
