£55,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator / BIM Lead to take ownership of BIM delivery across a diverse portfolio of complex MEP projects, spanning RIBA Stages 2–5.

The successful candidate will play a key role in setting BIM strategy, ensuring project continuity, and supporting the development of internal BIM capability.

The role is predominantly office-based and offers direct exposure to senior leadership, reporting into the three Directors of the business.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Leadership & Strategy

* Act as the BIM Lead across the business, setting and maintaining BIM strategy in line with BIM Level 2 requirements

* Oversee BIM delivery on multiple live projects, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality

* Enforce and develop BIM standards, protocols, and execution processes (existing frameworks in place but requiring leadership and consistency)

Project Delivery

* Lead BIM coordination on MEP projects from Stage 2 through Stage 5

* Manage and prioritise workloads across 15–20 live projects simultaneously, including:

* 3–4 large, complex projects

* A wider number of smaller projects

* Coordinate models, clash detection, and data workflows using Revit and Navisworks

* Work across both contractor-led and design-led projects

* Approx. 70% contractor-side, with a growing focus on client/design-side work

Team & Mentorship

* Provide technical management and mentoring to junior staff

* Support and upskill a new BIM/CAD team member (recent starter with strong CAD background and developing Revit skills)

* Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and stability during the BIM leadership transition

Key Software & Tools

* Revit (advanced, essential)

* Navisworks (essential)

* AutoCAD (working knowledge)

Required Experience & Skills

* Proven experience as a Senior BIM Coordinator / BIM Lead, ideally within MEP

* Strong understanding and delivery of BIM Level 2 projects

* Experience working across contractor-led and design-led environments

* Confident managing multiple live projects simultaneously

* Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills

* Comfortable working closely with Directors and influencing BIM strategy
