A growing construction consultancy is now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity offers a quantity surveyor the chance to work across a varied portfolio of UK construction projects while taking a lead role within a growing quantity surveying function. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based in London and will play a key part in delivering high-quality quantity surveying services to a range of clients.

The business continues to invest in its construction and quantity surveying offering, creating a clear pathway for a quantity surveyor seeking long-term progression within a structured consultancy environment.

The Role

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial delivery of projects from pre-contract through to final account, while supporting junior staff and maintaining client relationships.

The role will include:
Leading cost management and commercial control across multiple projects
Preparation of cost plans, estimates, and procurement strategies
Tender documentation, analysis, and contractor appointments
Contract administration and change management
Interim valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
Mentoring and supporting junior quantity surveyor team membersThe Senior Quantity Surveyor?

You will be a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in the UK construction market. Applications from non-construction related backgrounds will not be considered.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS or working towards chartership
Proven experience delivering projects within the UK construction sector
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teamsIn return……?
