Business Finance Partner – Maternity Cover (9 Months)

Canvey Island | Full-Time / Flexible

Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 | 25 days holiday + 2-week year-end shutdown

WE Talent is working with a well-established family-run construction business to recruit a Business Finance Partner on a maternity cover basis for 9 months, with potential for extension.

This is a hands-on, commercial finance role reporting to the Finance Director and working closely day-to-day with senior leadership. You’ll take ownership of cash flow, applications for payment, invoicing, supplier management, and tracking project costs and revenues all while providing insight to support business performance.

We’re looking for a dynamic, adaptable team player who:

* Has strong Sage experience

* Understands cash flow, invoicing, and project-based finance

* Can collaborate across teams while being proactive and hands-on

* Holds a finance qualification (part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience)

Flexible working welcome: full-time preferred, but four-day weeks or hours around school runs/carer duties considered, based on site.
